The St. Elizabeth Heart Center offers comprehensive cardiac services from routine procedures to bypass and open-heart surgeries. We’ve joined forces with The Care Group, Sigma Cardiology and CorVasc. Through our partnership with St.Vincent Heart Center, we continue our tradition of giving you and your family access to a strong, nationally recognized heart care program right here in Lafayette.
The St. Elizabeth Heart Center is a partnership with the St. Vincent Heart Center. According to HealthGrades Annual Hospital Quality in America Study, the St.Vincent Heart Center is #1 in Indiana for cardiac services for 2006 and 2007; in the top 5% of all U.S. hospitals for cardiac services; and received a five-star rating for valve replacement surgery.
The St. Elizabeth Heart Center team offers a wide-range of services and experienced personnel, from cardiologists and heart surgeons to extensively trained anesthesiologists, surgical techs and cardiac intensive care unit nurses. A strong cardiac rehabilitation program, heart catheterization lab and dedicated cardiac nursing units comprise the cornerstone of our heart program. Add to that follow-up visits to cardiologists, post-operative tests to monitor progress, dietitians, visiting nurses and a host of other dedicated caregivers and support staff, and you have a program with proven results that you can trust to provide the best care for you or your loved one.
